    We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician in our San Diego, California area.  Below you will find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

    Essential Functions:
    Must become knowledgeable of equipment and products to solve customer issues and troubleshoot technical problems.
    Responds to customer requests and answers customer questions in a professional, courteous and effective manner.
    Properly operates and maintains vehicle, tools and equipment.
    Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of customer equipment and program services in order to provide information to customers and market company products.
    Prepares and maintains logs, reports and other related documentation in accordance with company and department policies.
    Maintains, organizes and stocks vehicle with the proper equipment /part s in order to perform required duties.
    Correspond with customer, service and accounting department by phone and e-mail.
    Ability to work overtime and performs other duties as requested by supervisor in order to achieve goals and objectives.

    Position Responsibilities and Requirements
    Include but are not limited to:

    Associate Degree or a Certificate in Electronics
    2+ 5 years of vocational/technical training or equivalent work experienced
    A valid CA driver’s license and a safe driving record
    Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Software
    Mechanical aptitude knowledge (digital voltmeters, etc)
    Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize and organize
    Must be punctual and consistent attendance is required
    Strong and excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Must exhibit patience and strong customer service skills
    Background check and drug test required

    Physical Demands
    Ability to use hand tools
    Good physical condition in accordance with company policy to enable bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing, grasping and the ability to lift 80lbs.
