Utah awards 2011 Vehicle Emission Inspection Testing Contract to Worldwide Environmental Products.
Worldwide Environmental Products (WEP) has been awarded the Emission Testing contract starting April 2011.

Starting in 2011, Worldwide Environmental Products will begin the rollout of the Utah Vehicle Emission Inspection Systems. “The committee offers full support to Worldwide Environmental Products” said Sharon Pierce, Chair Selection Committee.

Utah Emission Program: Four Utah counties - Salt Lake City, Utah, Davis and Weber County require mandatory emission checks for all vehicles locally registered. Worldwide Environmental Products, Inc. has been awarded the Imperial Sand Dune Recreation Area – Non-Commercial Special Recreation Permit Program.
WEP’s innovation and technology has demonstrated an effective and efficient solution for managing ISDRA permit sales. We are aware of the challenges the ISDRA presents in regards to permit sales and compliance. We have personally experienced the frustration of entering and exiting the ISDRA, especially during peak holiday weekends.
WEP’s solution has eased the congestion while entering and exiting the ISDRA; therefore relieving the frustration of all involved.
WEP has aggressively pursued not only on site compliance but off site sales as well. Our aggressive marketing plan has increased off site sales to 54% from 2006/2007 season of 14%. The more off site sales we encourage, the less on site sales there will be during a check point; thus relieving congestion.
It is estimated that 20% of the ISDRA visitors are non-compliant. WEP’s check points and roaming Permit Staff have increased permit compliance to 85%.

EVAP 2010 - Worldwide Environmental Products partners with Delphi
Worldwide Environmental Products (WEP) has partnered with Delphi to market and service the only hand held portable EVAP 2010 device. The Delphi EVAP 2010 sets the standard in testing as:
- The fastest unit on the market requiring half the time

The Delphi EVAP 2010, provided by Systech International is only one of two units in certification for the EVAP tests required by the State of California starting on Nov. 1, 2007.

The Delphi EVAP 2010 is unique in that it is hand held, includes a rechargeable battery so that low pressure fuel evaporative emission testing can be done outside a testing site, thus saving the technician time and reducing total vehicle bay time. The competing system in the market requires a connection to 110 AC power source, which does not accommodate this type of scenario.
The Delphi unit includes all that is needed to conduct a thorough inspection including a filter, regulator, calibration tank, 30 foot coiled hose, low/high calibration valve, filler neck adapter set, tapered hose plug set and pinch pliers. An optional smoke generator is also available to further assist technicians in identifying the specific location of a leak for a faster repair.
