  • Electrical Engineer
    Design circuit diagrams and PCB layout for circuit boards, design mechanical test fixtures and additional test boards to test and trouble shoot boards, repair and design electrical circuit boards, design software to accommodate circuit boards, and develop enclosures for newly designed circuit boards.

  • Lead Field Service Technician
    Salary: $25.19 per hour - Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    Job Location: Brea, California  
       
    Position Responsibilities and Requirements
    Include but are not limited to;
    Mentor and motivate team technicians.
    Provide input to technician review/evaluations.
    Provide service support as needed in other areas.
    Promptly and professionally respond to service calls.
    Assist National Service Director on start-up of new state mandated programs.
    Troubleshoot equipment and analyze appropriate documents to determine cause of malfunctions
    in test equipment.
    Troubleshoot and repair equipment as required to ensure contractual compliance to fit for use limits, response time and equipment downtime requirements.
    Accurately and professionally respond to questions from customer regarding test equipment operation.
    Safely and accurately maintain supply of equipment spares and consumables.
    Complete all required service call documentation.
    Accurately and promptly report all maintenance activity, spare usage and consumables usage.
    Other tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the training program or as directed by the National Service Director and/or National Service Manager.
    Ability to work before and after business hours as required.
    Frequent Travel (50% to 65%) with minimal advance notice.
    Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

    Knowledge and Skills

    Prior training and or mentoring experience.
    Basic electrical/electronic theory.
    Basic PC operation and standard software packages (Windows, etc.).
    Mechanical aptitude/knowledge.
    Manual dexterity to perform tasks with small hand tools.
    Able to stoop, bend, reach and climb.
    Good written, verbal and customer service communication skills.

    Education and Work Experience
    Associate’s Degree or certificate in Electronics, vocational/technical training or equivalent work experience.
    Three to five years experience or training in electronic, mechanical or automotive field.
    Must be familiar with a variety of test equipment including oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, power tools, etc.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
